Programs

Welcome to A Brighter Today. We understand that choosing a program for your child can be challenging, so we are here to help you. Our goal is to provide the highest quality childcare and meaningful learning opportunities for your child, and to support your family.

The mission of A Brighter Today is to enable children with developmental disabilities to find, use, and strengthen their unique skills and talents, and to support their families. The board of directors, staff and volunteers of A Brighter Today are committed to the unique value of your child.

We are extremely proud of our program, but we know that it is you, the parent, who has the most influence on your child’s development. In order for your child to obtain the maximum advantage from our program, your help is needed. We hope you will participate in the program through your attendance at center functions, your involvement on the parent advisory committee and your appreciation of the hard work we do.

Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Additionally, A Brighter Today will be open Bi-Monthly until 10:00p.m. for parents “date night out”. A Brighter Today is a fully inclusive program.  A Brighter Today offers a Pre-school program for children ages 2- first grade entry.  At A Brighter Today we understand the importance of modeling for our special needs children. But what we also realize is the importance our special needs children and their integral role in the lives of the typically developing children we serve. There are many programs out their. A Brighter Today strives to teach typically developing children tolerance, empathy and compassion. A Brighter Today pairs children with special needs and typically developing children as a buddy system. The bonds that the children have been able to attain have been truly heartfelt. If more children could have the opportunity to be integrated in a program like that of A Brighter Today, imagine what the world could be like?

Pre-School Program

A Brighter today pre-school program is for children that are typically developing as well as children with special and medical needs between the ages of 2 and first grade entry.
